When searching for a Realtor, there are four questions you need to ask to ensure you find the one that’s best for you.
What questions do you need to ask when looking for a Lake Norman Realtor®? We’ve done thousands of transactions, so we know what to ask and what to look for in a great real estate agent. In particular, we recommend four questions that will give you a good idea of who you’d be working with:
1. What value do you add to the transaction? How they respond to this question should tell you how they hone their skills and if they’re serious about their business or they’re just winging it.
2. What guarantees do you have? Are there any guarantees for you if you don’t like their service or they don’t do what they say they’re going to do? I would want to know this up front, but unfortunately not that many people think to ask this question.
I wouldn’t want to work with someone who’s average or below average
3. How many homes have you sold in the last 30 days? The number of homes an average agent sells in a year is less than 10. I wouldn’t want to work with someone who’s average or below average—I would want to work with someone who’s top notch.
4. Can you give me references for your last three transactions? Not the best transactions they had a year ago—just their last three.
If you ask these questions and get good information back from them, you should be confident that you’ll be working with a good agent.
