Can you still buy a home if you don’t have enough money saved for a down payment? The answer is yes, and there are a few different options.
Can you buy a home with no money down?
Yes. There are several different programs available, such as the USDA loan or VA loan, that allow you to buy a home for no money down.
Recently, several new grant programs have come into the picture. These grants allow you to buy a home for no money down, and they have increasingly high spending limits, which is very encouraging.
If you belong to a credit union, they may offer members home loans with no money down.
Make sure you listen to your real estate agent so you find the loan program or grant that’s best for you.
Outside of those options, things get a little riskier. You may encounter some loan shark programs that we do not recommend, or lease-purchase scenarios.
Make sure to follow the counsel of your real estate agent so that you get into a good program that will be safe and secure for you and your family.
We can guide you through that process safely and securely. If you have any questions about buying a home, just give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to help you!
